Captured on my recent trip to Mars - the one-way vacation. It took forty minutes to transmit the RAW data file to Earth and another four days to resolve each pixel in its true colour. I am the first person to arrive on Mars and can report that the weather is fine and the air is clean and breathable. Gravity is not a problem and clean water can be readily found by digging about 300 mm below the surface. It's a good thing that I was given food supplies for three years because the soil doesn't seem to be fertile - that's going to take some work before seeds can be planted. Right now it looks like a dust storm on the horizon so I'm heading back to the living pod. Signing out for now......

As an avid photographer for many years, my tendency is to choose subjects with potential rather than things that look good to begin with and therein lies my challenge. I often look for an odd angle or composition and like most photographers, have become a keen observer.
